Job Description
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
● Manage financial teams to achieve company financial goals.
● Process payroll and report payroll taxes
● Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables,
● Develop the overall Company financial goals and objectives.
● Oversee preparation of financial records related to the general ledger, payroll, budget, expense, etc.
● Maintain accurate bank records of cash withdrawals and deposits.
● Follow standard accounting process for financial analysis and reporting activities.
● Evaluate the existing accounting system and recommend improvements if required.
● Developing and managing a budgeting system.
● Perform account reconciliations and generate financial reports.
● Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial-related problems.
● Manage all clients/suppliers’ accounts for payment settlements.
● Monitor and manage expenses within allotted budgets.
● Assist in resource identification, work assignment, performance evaluation, and promotion decision activities.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounts or any other related field. MBA is an added advantage
Must have a professional certification
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Ability to plan and manage a team.
Interpersonal communication skills and teamwork
Computer Skills, (Microsoft office application -Advance Level), internet
English and Swahili Language skills (Fluent)
Finance, Accounting, and budget knowledge
Accounting framework particularly from IFRS and IAS
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years progressive experience in accounting and finance role
