Guiding the client through their design process, helping to establish and translate their
visual identity into sketches that can be used for sample development + pattern cutting

• Original design for all categories and product groups, womenswear + menswear and

special projects.

• Thorough visual and vintage research across apparel and accessories (colour, fabric,

silhouette)

• Creative development through drawing, photoshopping / CAD and draping on the stand

( including print and ideally also embroidery)

• Ensure that designs are in keeping with the ethics and vision of the studio and in line with

the clients asks

• Prepare technical CAD drawings garments and collections, checking in with the pattern

cutter + machinists as necessary

• Clear communication of ideas, development and sourcing progressions to Management.

Responsible for preparing and passing information and communicating changes to relevant
team members.

• Ensuring work is updated and correctly filed. Meet key dates and (in coordination with the

Studio Coordinator & Production Manager) ensure design is completed to the critical path

• Responsible for making sure the clients journey is running smooth
• Fabric sourcing and keeping up to date with industry innovation
• Assist on any workshops, shoots and events where necessary
• Concept development ( educational as well in design)

2+ years of Designer experience or similar, with a degree in fashion

• Excellent written and spoken english skills
• Flexibility and sensitivity in understanding and developing design DNA with various

designers and clients, across all price and product range

• Strong understanding of garment construction, machine and hand sewing, embroidery,

pattern making, draping and womenswear tailoring

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, In Design and Illustrator
• Open to working across a number of different categories and with a number of different

clients at once
