We are now seeking for an Extrusion Manager who will Team up with the Xtruline Team.
Reporting to Operation Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to specify and identify
all extrusion equipment as well as perform design and development of various tubing/profile
extrusions. Lastly the extrusion manager will orchestrate production of extruded plastics and
secondary transformation operations such as coiling, tipping, flaring.
Main Accountabilities:
 Has the authority to choose, modify and to orient different actions for the different
functions or tasks of which you are responsible in relation to extrusion.
 Manages the designated personnel assigned to the projects onto which they are working.
 Manages the planning of projects and performs action to meet project deadlines.
 Ensure the start-up and maintenance and manufacture of medical tubes in general and any
inherent task to ensure the proper operations of the extrusion department.
 Accountable to upper management for all extrusion development activities and planning,
production quality and output of the Extrusion and 2 nd transformation team (coiling/flaring,
etc…).
 Provides leadership to comply with and maintains documentation in accordance Quality
Management System, internal procedures, customer requirements and notified body
requirements.
 Measures, reports, and continuously improves key performance indicators of the product
development and launch process.
 Develop accurate and timely development and production timeline as well as manufacturing
costs in response to customer or internal inquiries.
 Responsible to support new product cost-estimating and team feasibility review for new
business opportunities for extrusion projects.
 Perform design of experiment to extrude new references required by the customer.

 Support and develop validation protocols and reports and provide objective evidence that
equipment, processes, test methods and product meet customer requirements as well as
comply with applicable regulations.

Qualifications and Experiences:
 Plastics processing diploma or relevant engineering field such as Mechanical.
 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or mechanical environment. Successful experience
in medical device, plastics extrusion.
 Ability to communicate problems or issues verbally and written in English and French.
 Ability to read and understand procedures, safety sheets, instructions and policies.
 Ability to work with measuring devices.
 Good capacity to follow processes and advanced understanding of the technical job duties.
 Fluent in Excel including graphical representation and pivot table. Hands on experience on
an extrusion line is a plus.
 Good knowledge on CAD software (Solidworks will be a plus).
 Ability to run DOE (Design of Experiment) and/or flow analysis using off the shelf software.
