Key Responsibilities:
 Examine and Diagnose: Perform physical exams and utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., blood
tests, X-rays) to diagnose animal health issues.
 Develop Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans for patients, including
medication prescriptions, surgical procedures, and rehabilitation.
 Perform Surgeries: Carry out routine and complex surgeries, including spaying, neutering,
and soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries, ensuring patient safety throughout.
 Emergency Care: Provide critical care to animals in emergency situations, making quick
decisions to stabilize and treat.
 Preventative Care: Administer vaccines, parasite treatments, and health screenings to
prevent common diseases and health conditions.
 Client Education: Educate pet owners about proper animal care, including nutrition,
preventative measures, behavior, and overall well-being.
 Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient,
documenting all diagnoses, treatments, and progress.
 Collaborate with Team: Work closely with veterinary technicians, nurses, and support staff
to ensure seamless patient care and clinic operations.
 On-call Availability: Be available for after-hours emergency care as needed.

List of duties: Senior Veterinarian

 Perform comprehensive physical examinations (subjective, objective data collection) on
animals as per our set standard operating procedures.
 Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions and injuries including differential
diagnosis and using our diagnostic facilities available at the clinic.

 Conduct routine surgeries and emergency procedures as needed as per our standard operating
guidelines.
 Administer vaccinations and preventative care to ensure overall health as per our set protocols
or set protocols of the veterinary council.
 Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, snap test(immunoassay), imaging (x ray and
echography) or any other diagnostic tools.
 Maintain accurate medical records and documentation on our in-house software and
maintaining confidentiality of treatments and personal data of clients as well as clinic
insights.
 Collaborate, lead a team of veterinary assistants, technicians and support staff to deliver
quality care with respect to our ethical values instated by the clinic management.
 Educate pet owners on proper nutrition, preventive care, case discussion related to their
respective pets and health management.
 Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and best practices.
 Participate in community outreach and education programs.
 Lead a team of technicians for maintenance of our quality care management system in place.
 Collaborate and implement Standard operating procedures set by management and ensure that
junior staffs follow guidelines for the maintenance of quality care.
 Ensure cleanliness and proper management of wards by other junior staffs.
 Ensure follow up and treatment standards as per our Standard operating guidelines.
 Participate in brainstorming sessions in view of improving the facility and quality care of the
company.
 Participate in team building and any other event organised by the company for the employee’s
welfare, development and education.
 To help into organising internal learning sessions with our staff with veterinary related topics.
 To reach targets and KPI’s set by the management team.
 Leading a team of vet technician and assistants for implementation, following our standard
operating procedures.
 You shall also have a set of key product indicators and targets to meet.
 Participate in the training sessions organised by the company for your personal growth and as
well as and not limited to organise and participate in our junior staff training as tutor.
 Participate in growth meetings of the company, strategic planning and review of standard
operations.
 To collaborate and implement action plans devised by the quality assurance manager.
 To follow strict guidelines of the company and instructions from the centre coordinator or
floor manager.
 Educate pet owners about proper animal care, including nutrition, preventative measures,
behavior, and overall well-being.
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting all diagnoses,
treatments, and progress.

Qualifications & Requirements:
 Education: DVM/ BVSC/DVMS/MVSC or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary
school.
 Licensing: Valid state veterinary license and eligibility to practice in the country currently
practicing. A certificate of good practice from the council of the country of practice.
 Experience: At least 3/4years of experience in a busy veterinary care (preferred), with
expertise in surgery and emergency care a plus.
 Certificate of character from local police authorities
