Job Responsibilities:

Analyze project plans and specifications to create detailed cost estimates for house infrastructure and municipal projects.
Prepare and submit tender documents and bids.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation.
Evaluate materials, labor, and equipment costs to determine the overall project budget.
Review and update estimates based on new information or project changes.
Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to better understand project requirements.
Maintain a database of historical cost data to aid in future estimates.
Provide support during contract negotiations and post-tender discussions.

Experience Required:

Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, specifically in tendering and estimating for house infrastructure and municipal projects.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree and above
Preferred Skills:

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in the construction or engineering industry, particularly in house infrastructure and municipal projects.
Additional Information:

Candidates with experience in large-scale tendering processes will be given preference.
Willingness to relocate to Botswana if currently residing elsewhere.
