Key responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair electrical systems across poultry sheds and farm buildings.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in ventilation fans, cooling pads, heaters, lighting, feeders, drinkers, water pumps, and generators.
Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Install and maintain motors, control panels, wiring, switches, and distribution boards.
Ensure backup power systems (DG sets/generators) are operational.
Follow electrical safety standards and poultry farm biosecurity protocols.
Maintain maintenance logs and coordinate with the farm manager during breakdowns.
Desired candidate profile
ITI/Diploma in Electrician or Electrical Engineering.
2–5 years of electrical maintenance experience (experience in poultry farms, hatcheries, feed mills, or manufacturing plants preferred).
Knowledge of motors, control panels, pumps, generators, and basic automation/PLC is an advantage.
Willingness to work on emergency breakdowns and flexible shifts.
