Watch for compliance with the company's Safety and Health Policy/Procedures by the
Maintenance staff in the company. Respect and implement the Quality Management
Systems Policies and Procedures. (Clear any doubts with HM and/or POM).

• Ensure your understanding of the company's Quality Policy in the context of MS ISO 9001-

1. (Discuss with HM / QM and or POM for clarifications).

• Controlling and maintenance of all mould sets/equipment and company infrastructure and

related accessories as per instructions from HM and/or POM.

• Upkeep all relevant registers to track and approve the overall maintenance of

mould/equipment as well as the wear and tears of parts.

• Daily electrical checking of the extrusion lines.
• Register and report any damage caused on tool/mould sets/infrastructure by shift workers.
• Periodic maintenance (viz: greasing, oiling etc...) on processing plant as per

instructions/schedule available.

• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity:
• a) Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
• b) Control further processing of non-conforming product until the deficiency or

unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

• Attend regular Safety Meeting held by SHO.

Performing specific duties with regard to equipment
repairs/maintenance/modifications under instructions from HM
/ POM. Organise timely repair to minimize equipment
breakdown.
Follow closely the instructions given by HM / POM.

• Identify and report sources of product quality deviations and non-safe conditions of

operation.

• Maintain housekeeping in your workplace to the highest standards of cleanliness at all

times.
