MAIN DUTIES:

• Major repairs of engine and transmission rebuild of heavy vehicles used in the

harvesting industry.

• Diagnosis of vehicle faults to include common rail.
• Testing and repairing engines, fuel systems and cooling components
• Servicing and repairing hydraulic systems
• Servicing and repairing transmissions and gear boxes
• Routine servicing and tuning of diesel equipment
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and train senior staff to ensure quality, competency and improvement.
• Other duties as required.

PERSONAL QUALITIES:

• Mature, stable temperament and a self-starter.
• Experienced with hands-on work in a workshop environment.
• Able to maintain professional and disciplined relationships with staff.
• Team player with a drive to find continuous improvement
