Responsibilities:

• Partake in efforts that shape the organization’s security policies and standards for use in cloud environments
• Direct and influence multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating Cyber Security controls
• Develop an understanding current and forward-looking threat profile.
• Work closely with Ecommerce teams to ensure all system platforms and cloud environments are secured with standards.
• Provide subject matter expertise on information security architecture and systems engineering to other IT and business teams
• Execute security architectures for cloud cloud/hybrid systems
• Responsible for automating security controls, data and processes to provide improved metrics and operational support
• Employ cloud-based APIs when suitable to write network/system level tools for safeguarding cloud environments
• Protects valuable information and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of data
• Knowledge of security management, network & protocols, data and application security solutions industry trends and current and emerging risks
• Spot and execute new security technologies and best practices into the company’s Cloud offerings.
• Experience with security related regulatory requirements, such as NIST, PCI and ISO 27001.

• Required 3+ years in an Information Security role
• Require a minimum of 2 years experience with Cloud Security engineering / administration
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related field or equivalent experience
• Preferred 1+ years securing Ecommerce environments (Understanding in Shopify based environment preferred).
• Strong understanding of public cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as Service (SaaS) delivery models across multiple different cloud vendors.
• Required Experience with cloud services. Preferably AWS Web Services
• Some experience with Vulnerability Assessment tools desired
• Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management preferred.
