The Country Operations Manager will be overall responsible for the strategic execution of its direct-to-consumer strategy within this market. This includes expanding the own & operated sales footprint and building the Companies brand to become a leading player within the premium shoe and leather goods segment.

The Country Operations Manager is also responsible for building and leading the newly established organization and ensure a strong succession planning on all levels of the organization, through coaching and development of staff and recruitment of talents to position company for long-term success and growth in the market.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years’ experience in an international management role, footwear or fashion & apparel retail industry preferred.

• Experience with developing, communicating and executing comprehensive Direct-to-Consumer business plans and strategies.
• Ability to set strategic and tactical direction, and think with innovation and creativity.
• Excellent market connection and in depth understanding of India consumer market.
• Has deep insight in retail business management (e.g. inventory management, budgeting, setting and communicating objectives).
