Responsibilities
 Lead and represent company in India
 Take the business through a successful RBI license application
 Establish all the key payment method partner relationships and plan and execute the
integrations process on a prioritized basis to ensure all payments methods are available
through company for our customers
 Build on and manage your existing strategic relationships within the payments and
banking sector at the highest level
 Build and manage a team of payment professionals to carry out the strategic vision in
India
 Deal with the merchants and be the first point of contact for any merchant related issues
until you can hand over to your business development team which you will build
 Together with your Direct Report, you will agree the strategy for the Indian market
 Oversee in conjunction with the CPO the product roadmap strategy for local payments
and act as the point of contact and ensure it is successfully integrated / executed

Responsible for the commercial term’s discussion and negotiation with payment method
partners and you are expected to have knowledge of what pricing should be in order to
be competitive
 Partner with multiple stakeholder in the industry (e.g. vendors, regulators, Accountants,
Lawyers, etc.)
 Contribute to the building of a positive and productive work culture
 Continually advise the leadership team about current trends in the Indian market and
provide input into any new or local product requirements
 Act as the bridge between the European Head Office and the local India office
 Be the country expert in all matters relating to India and Payments
 Be current at all times with trends or regulations that will affect the business
 Build long-lasting relationships with industry stakeholders, such as B2B companies,
Fintechs, trade associations and accounting firms etc
 Be responsible for the full Financial Success of the business, we will give you the tools
and you need to deliver
 Work cross-functionally with other global offices
 Hire a full team to support you (we have a 20 seater office secured already)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
 Additional business education such as an MBA would be an advantage
 You will have deep experience in the payments or the banking industry and an
understanding of the digital and technology needs of a Global payment aggregator
 You are known within the Sector and have relationships at the highest level
 Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a leadership position in Payments (gateways,
online payments, or with other payment providers) or Banking (e-commerce or
payments divisions from one of Indian’s big banks) or both 
 Demonstratable experience of leading a payments of Fintech company or of leading a
payments or fintech division within a large organization
 A strong track record of achievements / milestones
 Demonstratable business development experience within the payment industry in India
 You pay Attention to detail and have the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
of management from C-Suite downwards
 You are mindful of foreign cultures and can translate/explain the way of doing business
in India to non-Indian nationals.
 Experience of building and leading high performing teams within a payments or financial
business
 Must be aware of the regulatory and compliance environment
 You have been interviewed before or appeared in the Media or must be comfortable
appearing in the Media or being quoted in the Media on behalf of Unlimint
 The Ability to travel across India and international (+- 20% travel)
 You will have direct experience in dealing with The Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) and
must have experience in establishing a legal entity in India
 You will be able to work independently as your direct report is based outside India
 Reporting Writing and the ability to be accurate in presentations and reports
