Clients are currently delivering a luxury resort development 30 minutes speedboat ride from Male,
the capital. The project they are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager whose key responsibilities
will include:

• Management of the post contract commercial team;
• Issuing of commercial and contractual correspondence and notices as required;
• Participate in reviews of contractual performance, pro-actively ensuring appropriate protective

action is taken should project extensions be required;

• Oversee all variations requests and review variation proposals, work orders and amendments;
• Where applicable offer financial direction and instruction to the project team to ensure they are

in line with the key aspects of the contract for project completion;

• Proactively mitigate project risk managing budgetary variance, penalties and contractual

amendments on a continuing and ongoing basis.

As a strong applicant for this Senior Contracts Manager will: LLB Qualification

• Possess a relevant industry qualification and demonstrate a strong academic background;
• Demonstrate a track record of operating within the luxury hospitality space, ideally with

international exposure;

• Possess a strong commercial background with knowledge of international contract terms and

conditions;

• Be familiar with long term, complex contracts and programmes;
• Show a commercially focused attitude with the ability to negotiate successfully;
• You will have fluent English language skills and be comfortable liaising with developer and

consultancy contacts.
