Key responsibilities
Purpose: Diagnose, repair, and modify moulds/tools; manufacture new moulds; manage toolroom efficiency.
Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Edgecam, CAD/CAM).
Select proper cutters and manage cutting tools.
Maintain, repair, and modify moulds; support production start‑ups.
Conduct tool inspections and preventive maintenance.
Attend to breakdowns promptly (mould heater faults, leaks, ejector issues, etc.).
Operate conventional machines (lathes, milling, grinders, spark eroders).
Support product/mould design and development work.
Ensure housekeeping, safety, and compliance with toolroom mandate.
Train staff and assist other departments when required.
Desired candidate profile
Minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC toolmaking.
Strong mechanical aptitude, CAD/CAM knowledge, and CNC programming skills.
Ability to work independently and in teams, with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety standards.
