Responsibilities
 Understanding what the clients and the company want to achieve.
 Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver every project.
 Guiding the drawing up of detailed plans for how to achieve each stage of every project.
 Selecting and leading a project team
 Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
 Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
 Directing a multi-disciplinary team
 Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their own teams.
 Communicating with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way
 Overseeing several projects at the same time
 Ensuring that each stage of each project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard of
quality and HSE.
 Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
 Reporting regularly on progress to the client and shareholders / directors
 Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships
 Resolving any issues or delays
 Managing several projects simultaneously with the support of junior project managers
 Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to
implement those decisions.
 Mostly office based but will be required to visit sites periodically.

Requirements and skills
BSc/MScs/BTech in engineering, building science or relevant field.
PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
Proven experience as construction project manager
Thorough knowledge of construction / project monitoring software
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
More than 10 Years managing Projects Managers handling variety of projects in different sectors.
