Position title: Chief Credit Officer
Job level: Executive
Reports to: CEO
The Chief Credit Officer will be responsible for doing the due diligence in terms of ensuring adherence
to processes involved in credit pproval, take appropriate credit decisions, to be aware on the general
trends and updates on various industries to support appropriate decision making, among others.
Key Responsibilities:

• Credit appraisal of loan applications within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision or

recommend for approval to higher authorities.

• Evaluate proposals of customers for credit, and other financial services.
• Use performance history along with liquidity, debt/asset management and profitability ratios

to assess creditworthiness in evaluation

• Interact with customers to understand the business and regularly monitor delinquencies /

infants.

• Decision making within defined guidelines of the Institution.

Qualification and Experience

• 10 years combined experience in banking and finance
• Proven work experience as a credit manager, credit analyst or similar role
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Solid understanding of lending procedures
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets (e.g. in

Excel)

• Negotiation skills
• BSc in Accounting, Economics, Banking and Finance or relevant field
