Key responsibilities and duties:
 Personnel and Industrial Relations
o Responsible for compliance within the CMP all Company and government policies and
procedures.
o Provide necessary leadership for CMP operations.
o Coordinate shift work force needs throughout the CMP.
o Provide and coordinate necessary training of all staff of CMP.
o Implement and maintain Company policies and contractual obligations in the CMP area.
 Cost / Budget
o Responsible for maintaining CMP budgets.
o Recommend alternative operational and cost procedures that are in the interest of the Cannery.
o Responsible for operating the CMP Operations within approved budget costs and volumes.
o Maintain within the CMP operations, accounting systems, procedures and controls to provide an
effective analytical tool.
o Submit necessary accounting reports to management as required.
 Production Receiving – Manufacturing and Issuance
o Supervision of CMP operations in accordance with acceptable Company procedures and policies.
o Monitor production goals for the CMP operation.
o Implement operational changes within the CMP as required.
o Maintain TFS inventory to ensure an efficient can and lid manufacturing operation.
o Monitor and implement shipping operation according to company procedures and customer
requirements.
o Responsible of initiation of reviews of production plans, to ensure that committed contracts are
met.

 Quality Control and Sanitation
o Maintain quality all through CMP operations.
o Ensure all outgoing finished product meets established quality, safety standards.
o Monitor, and audit CMP to ensure that quality and sanitation standards meet Company and local
policies and procedures.
o Responsible for sanitation and cleanliness of operations to ensure that they are in compliance
with Company and local policies and procedures.

 Inventory Controls
o Responsible for seeing the inventory is maintained on a FIFO (First in First Out) basis.
o Responsible for seeing that production schedules are met.
o Timely ordering of production materials and follow-ups on delayed deliveries.
o Ensure accurate plant inventories of finished product, critical stocks are maintained.
o Management reporting systems are followed promptly.
 Maintenance
o Maintain in good repair all equipment, buildings and grounds in conformance with all Company
policies and procedures.
o Observe maintenance requirements by different means such as statistical analysis of non-
conforming products, down time and efficiency of machineries and equipment.

 Safety and Training
o Responsible for compliance in CMP operations for safety requirements and record keeping.

o Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all CMP employees.
o Responsible for maintaining a safety awareness and safety training program for all employees,
with records as evidence.
 Planning and Scheduling
o Responsible for presenting to the Management
 Production plan as and when required.
 Daily and Monthly activity records for CMP
o Shipments of TFS scrap
o Work schedules to meet shipping targets
o Routine maintenance works
o Training Programs
 Budget Capital and Operational
o Present an annual budget for the CMP including:

o Capital improvements and replacements;

Can making Engineer (Preferred Nationality: Srilankan, Indian, Philippines, Indonesia & Thailand)

Experience: Minimum 3 years or above in a similar position - JD attached

Qualification: Diploma / Degree in engineering field
