Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and self-driven Biomedical Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining biomedical equipment, ideally in a healthcare or hospital setting. The ideal candidate should have experience independently managing a facility and be proficient in troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of a wide range of medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
Independently manage biomedical equipment operations at the facility

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in various medical devices

Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on medical equipment

Maintain accurate documentation for service, calibration, and compliance

Ensure all equipment is functioning optimally and meets safety standards

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized repairs or parts

Train staff on proper use and basic troubleshooting of medical equipment

Maintain inventory of tools, spares, and equipment maintenance logs

Provide technical guidance during equipment procurement and installation

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or a related field

8 to 10 years of experience in biomedical engineering, with proven ability to independently manage a facility

Strong knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing a variety of medical equipment

Proficient in calibration techniques and standards for medical devices

Good communication, reporting, and record-keeping skills

Ability to respond quickly to breakdowns or emergencies

Preferred Experience:
Hands-on experience with ophthalmic equipment will be a strong advantage

Familiarity with hospital operations and clinical environments
