--Role Purpose--
The Bag Off Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the finish feed bagging activities at two finish feed
bagging stations within a poultry feed plant. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient and
accurate bagging operations, meeting production targets, and maintaining product quality. The Bag Off
Supervisor reports to the Poultry Feed Plants Manager and collaborates with various stakeholders to
optimize bagging performance while ensuring operational and safety compliance.

KPI 1: Reporting to the Poultry Feed Plants Manager
- Outcomes:
- Regularly report bagging station performance, challenges, and achievements to the Poultry Feed
Plants Manager.
- Provide updates on key operational metrics and suggest improvement opportunities.
- Action Items:
- Prepare and present bagging performance reports, including bagging rates, downtime, and quality
metrics.
- Collaborate with the Poultry Feed Plants Manager to establish bagging targets and align operational
strategies.
- Communicate any significant issues, risks, or delays to the management for timely resolution.
KPI 2: Daily Data Capture of Finish Feed Bagging Activities
- Outcomes:
- Ensure the accurate and timely capture of all finish feed bagging-related data on a daily basis.
- Maintain records of bagging rates, product codes, downtime, and other relevant information.
- Action Items:
- Implement and manage robust data capture systems and processes to record bagging activities.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of data entered, conducting regular audits to identify and rectify
discrepancies.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to collect and analyze bagging data required for performance
evaluation.
KPI 3: Operational and Safety Risk Control
- Outcomes:
- Identify and mitigate operational and safety risks within the bagging stations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to minimize workplace hazards.
- Action Items:
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential operational and safety risks within the bagging
processes.
- Develop and implement risk control measures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Regularly monitor and evaluate adherence to safety protocols, address any non-compliance issues,
and promote a culture of safety among the bagging team.
KPI 4: Bagging Efficiency and Productivity
- Outcomes:
- Optimize bagging processes and resources to achieve efficient and productive operations.
- Maximize bagging rates while maintaining product quality and minimizing waste.
- Action Items:
- Analyze bagging performance data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure optimal functionality of bagging equipment.
- Develop and monitor key efficiency indicators, such as bagging rates, downtime, and changeover
times.
KPI 5: Quality Control and Assurance
- Outcomes:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements within the bagging operations.
- Implement measures to continuously improve bagging quality and reduce product defects.

- Establish and enforce quality control procedures within the bagging processes.
- Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of finished bags to ensure compliance with
specifications.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality issues, implement corrective actions,
and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Manage and develop a high-performing bagging team.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the bagging team, ensuring clear communication and goal

- Outcomes:
- Monitor and control costs related to bagging operations.

- Collaborate with the Poultry Feed Plants Manager and finance department to develop and manage
the bagging budget.
- Analyze cost data and identify areas for cost reduction, such as minimizing waste and optimizing
bagging material usage.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring alignment with production
targets and quality requirements.
