Role

The Automation/Process manager provides leadership, vision, direction and strategy to the implantable Automation/Process organization while ensuring business objectives and client expectations are met.

The Automation/Process manager is responsible for integrating new manufacturing technologies into an existing Production Operations. He will ensure that new processes must be aligned to meet the Quality, Safety and Yield objectives at the time of new product launch.

Responsibilities

1. Develop machines & equipment

• Study and manufacture machines & equipments used for production within the company
• Define equipment with R&D department.
• Work closely with the research and development department and the operation department for equipment definition.
• Define specifications for new equipment (machine and tooling).
• Provide assistance and expertise on technical issues
• Create software for the management of the machine

1. Technical part

• Be able to define a technical solution that meets specification
• Perform qualification tests IQ & OQ (defined protocols, processes and validation master plan)
• Provide key technical leadership to manufacturing and production during and after introduction of new machines
• Manage all files in relation to equipment (user manual, data, qualification and life sheet)
• Define instructions to equipment calibration
• Manage maintenance and calibration activities on X3 or QCBD including life sheet and breakdown.
• Work in the ISO quality management system / Internal auditor
• Intervene on maintenance of equipment of Maurister Ltd, Abiolabs and Xtruline.

1. Decision making and Team Management

• Manage the machine and equipment department team (Engineers and technicians).
• Take the decision to support, purchase or make new equipment.
• Take charge of monitoring and manufacture of the machines (design, buid and validate).
• Participate in the production transfer activities for implementation of the equipments.
• Creation and project management on X3
• Participate in the transmission of knowledge within the team.

Experiences
 Minimum of 10 years in medical device field.
 Minium of 5 years of people management experience.
 Working experience with several of associated technologies and systems integration.
 Solid engineering experiences , expertise in electronics hardware, mechanical design and /or material science.
 Poven people management skills.
