Key responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and manage AutoCAD drawings for various IS&T projects, including CCTV systems, radio systems, optical fiber installations, data center layouts, and networking projects for mining sites.
Work closely with project teams to understand project requirements and translate them into detailed technical drawings.
Ensure drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with industry standards.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to integrate various system components into the design.
Organize and classify project-related data and documentation on SharePoint for easy access and retrieval.
Maintain an efficient and organized filing system for all project drawings, ensuring version control and proper document management.
Review, update, and improve existing AutoCAD designs to meet the specific requirements of new and ongoing projects.
Prepare and present design proposals, technical drawings, and other project documentation to management and clients.
Ensure all project drawings meet quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
Desired candidate profile
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as an AutoCAD Engineer with a strong portfolio of completed projects (preferably in CCTV, radio systems, data centers, or mining-related industries).
High proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D drafting, with extensive experience in creating and modifying detailed engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of design principles for ICT infrastructure, including networking, optical fiber, CCTV systems, and radio communication systems.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to classify and manage large sets of data and drawings.
Good command of English (both written and spoken) for effective communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Experience in using SharePoint or similar document management platforms to store and manage project data.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Attention to detail and the ability to review and check drawings for accuracy.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting and design.
Previous experience working on mining-related projects or large-scale ICT infrastructure projects.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to CCTV, networking, radio systems, and data centers.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
