Client is looking for an Auto Electrician to be based at the Bulolo Transport Workshop.
The role requires an experienced auto-electrician that can work exclusively on the electrical
systems of our vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support to the Transport Workshop Manager and work closely with staff to

optimise the electrical component functionality of vehicles.

• Maintain, repair, replace and upgrade the electrical components of PNGFP vehicles.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical componentry of fleet vehicles.
• Supervise staff and delegate duties relating to priorities in the workshop. Provide

appropriate instruction feedback.

• Inspect completed jobs/tasks and sign-off before releasing equipment to operational

teams.

• Provide procurement support.
• Identify issues and take immediate action to repair and resolve problems. Attend to

breakdowns as required.

• Train, mentor and develop staff with cultural sensitivity.
• Other duties as directed.

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Strong work ethic with an ability to lead from the front and strengthen team work.
• Proven problem-solving skills
• Supervisory experience with attention to detail and safety

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mechanical trade qualifications are viewed favorably.
