We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Associate Director to join our
growing Investments team. This client-facing role requires an equal focus on deal
origination and execution, working closely with our Delivery and Global Sales teams.

This is our first hire on the ground in India, so we are looking for the best of the best: a candidate who already brings real debt advisory or origination experience and an active network of lenders, sponsors, or clients across the region from day one. Execution skills alone are not enough for this role.

Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience, with substantial hands-on experience specifically in debt advisory or origination — broader banking experience or execution-only experience alone will not meet the bar for this role
• Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, Origination, or Credit.
• Must-have: an active, established network of lenders, sponsors, and/or clients across the region that you can bring and activate from day one. As our first hire on the ground in India, this network is essential and non-negotiable — it is not something we expect the candidate to build from scratch.
• Demonstrated track record in business development, winning mandates, and closing sizeable transactions independently.
• Strong experience executing large-ticket, complex debt transactions (note: execution skills alone are not sufficient for this role without the debt origination experience and network described above)
• Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Professional maturity to engage with senior stakeholders, clients, and funding

partners.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple large priorities simultaneously, and lead and mentor deal teams effectively.
• Willingness to travel to meet clients and lenders as required.
