Maintaining the air safety occurrence reporting database;

• Monitoring corrective actions and flight safety trends;

• Monitors and reviews flight proficiency checks for all pilots, and ensures that pilots maintain currency.

• Co-coordinating the Regulatory Authority’s Mandatory Occurrence Reporting scheme;

• Liaising with the heads of all sectionsCompany -wide on flight safety matters;

• Disseminating flight safety-related information

• Participates in aviation accidents or incidents with potential (IWP) investigations within respective region or as requested by other regions or national office.

• Maintaining an open liaison with manufacturers’ customer flight safety sections, government regulatory bodies and other flight safety organizations world-wide;

• Carrying out safety audits and inspections;

• Maintaining familiarity with all aspects of theairline activities and its personnel;

• Planning and controlling theairlineSafety Section’s budget;

• Managing or having oversight of the FOQA Program, when activated

• Publishing the periodicCOMAPNY flight safety magazine When present;
