Responsibilities:

General Accounting:

Maintain and oversee the daily accounting operations.
Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ensure timely payments to vendors and collection of receivables.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
Tax and Compliance:

Assist in tax preparation and filing activities.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Liaise with auditors and assist in audits as required.
Financial Analysis and Decision Support:

Analyze financial data and provide recommendations based on findings.
Support management in financial decision-making processes.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
Systems and Process Improvement:

Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems and procedures.
Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience (X years) as a JD Accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
CPA or similar certification is a plus.
