Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for AC systems
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams
• Understanding refrigeration cycles
• Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temperature
• Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Install equipment, appliances and other electrical equipment.
• Complies with all company safety regulations.
• Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager
• Reads and follows manuals, and other written instructions.
• Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as an AC Technician preferably with experience also in building maintenance, construction, plumbing or electrical work
• Certification or associate’s degree from a technical school
• Minimum 2 Years experience as an AC technician cum general maintenance
